Safety comes first
Safety (security or anti-vandal) films are a strong protective barrier against break-ins and injuries. They are installed on the inner glass surface, making it stronger and safer.
Safety films significantly prolong the time needed to break the glass and make breaking harder, reducing the risk of theft and property damage caused by break-ins.
Glass with a safety film is much harder to break and, if it does break, the film keeps the broken glass in place — in one piece. This prevents possible injuries caused by breaking and shattering glass.
LLumar safety films
When it comes to safety films, quality matters most. That is why we recommend LLumar safety films, which passed the European EN and American ANSI tests with top marks and comply with the strictest international standards.
LLumar safety films are available in different thicknesses, which affect their safety performance.
They are usually completely transparent and optically clear, but reflective safety films with heat protection and a mirror effect also exist. All LLumar safety films contain protective UV filters that reject 99% of UV rays.
